Education at GlobeMed

GlobeMed's GlobalHealthU (GHU) curriculum is a series of presentations on critical global health and social justice issues affecting our world. Our GHU coordinator presents a new topic every week during our club meetings. Together, we explore the issue and engage in activities and discussion about the layers of the issue and the oppressive systems at hand. GHU presentations are also designed to promote awareness and action whenever possible. Some previous GHU topics have included the recent increased incidence of heart attacks in young women, public health implications of the civil war in Sudan, and missing and murdered Indigenous women.
